Poem 10: Angel Eyes

This is a poem I wrote about when a friend of mine kept having nightmares with her crying.

"The deep sky
Vast and high
So deep and kind
Behind her eyes

Falling down
Into the abyss
I stand there
As my angel cries

Anger exploding
A thousand suns
We can't stop it
Nothing can be done

Here am I
Standing before you
See the truth
Inside of mine

The crying river
Stops
Years of guilt comes to a end
So does mine

Do not worry
Do not fear
We are here
Staring straight into your eyes
